Well, since there’s not much to do at home during the holidays, i guess better join something or die of boredom at home. So ths friend of mine, Ryan, asked me to join this holiday camp for 4 days 3 nights. It’s held in Singapore, but it also invites Malaysians to join as well.

Camp Ehi-Passiko is a buddhist camp. It teaches the buddha’s teaching in a fun-ner method. With games and all that, this should be fun. The last time Ryan went, he gave me a very good feedback, and asked me to go with him the next time. Since it’s so good, i wouldn’t bother the trip it takes to Singapore, i wanna just go there and have fun and learn.

Once i went to a Sunday school, SABS, short for Shah Alam Buddhist Society. But not long after i joined, i quit and never joined anything buddhist related programmes. Maybe it’s just me being too young or unable to adapt causing me too quit SABS. The buddha’s teachings are all about peace and helping those in need, being selfless, for short.

For kids, if you don’t understand this then let me put it this way……. It’s like the Jedi from Star Wars. They try to consult a peaceful solution to the galaxy and end the war. Being a Star Wars fan when i was little, i know a couple of thing related to it.

It’s been nice typing this post, i have no idea why but i’ll check back to you fellow readers with the experience of CEP!

The Surprise!

Well, i forgot to blog yesterday. SO here goes the post today.

Ok, So i am here in Muar. Somewhere in the Johor part of Malaysia. The home of the infamous Namewee. My mom actually knows him and even can bring us to his house. This time it’s slightly different. I am currently here with my ”blogging buddy”, Ryan Ooi.

The life here is simple, just get up, breakfast, work or do whatever you do, and go back. Now you just read the basic everyday life of an uncle that you see in a kopitiam. Everytime you’ll see uncles and their friends sitting at a kopitiam, chit-chatting, living their final years.

This post is gonna end here and i’ll see you guys soon!

Uncles…

Today i wanna talk about old uncles.

Due to rain, we (my friends and I) went to mamak instead of going to the usual Summit to have our dinner. Why, because we have tuition at school today. At the mamak, the uncle gave me a pat on the shoulder and started chatting with us throughout the entire meal.

Uncles are very open towards other kids and like to chit-chat with people even though they have no idea of who they are. He was kind and funny at the same time. He shared some life stories with us, apparently he fought in the war too! He had a gun pointed at his head but while he watches all those kung fu stuff back then, did he not only just see, but he learned and he tried it out. It saved his life.

He said that back then children our age were working their asses off and do not get luxury like what we have today. I changed my mingd on wanting more after the uncle left.

Uncles are funny yet nice. Why? They like to joke around with us youngsters and he told me his name was *lau wan tong, in english it’s called old play kid. You get the rest….

So this is my post for now, and p.s i got Modern Warfare 3!!! (Auntie Clara please tell Tj this, Thanks)

Signing off,

Projects

I have no idea on how i feel about projects. Maybe it’s the type of project that makes me excited upon doing it or make me feel like suicide doing it. Some interesting yet hard projects are the ones that get me frustrated upon.

For example the project that i’m currently working on, my art project. They asked me to make something for Deepavali (although it has passed) and so i did the rice paintings. The first impression was always so simple, just colour the rice and paste them on cardboard. Turns out, colour not rich, rice no stick, cardboard destroyed by some good-for-nothing friends. Therefore, i had to make due with a broken cardboard, rice that falls apart after i stick them.

Oh long projects! Why do you always annoy me!?

Sides

So recently the neighbourhooders got into sides. I don’t have the names yet but let’s just say A side vs. B side. And as for me, I’m just like always, stuck in the middle. A side has their own explanations, B side got theirs. I bet that you are wondering what for.

Look. It’s like this, we were playing as usual when someone decides to climb on top of a slide tube. She didn’t sit in the lock dead position, which means you can’t fall no matter what, but in a feather position. Those are the most dangerous type of climbing. And then, another person tickled her resulting the fact that she will be falling, good thing she held on. I didn’t see the whole thing, but this is what I heard. Then she did what every girl would have did. She cried.

I guess she might have been scared and didn’t want her face to be seen or something, because after that she shooed us all away and demanded privacy. To be honest with you, I pity her. I am even scared to climb where she climbed. Even if I almost fell, I will still feel scared and not try it again. She’s really brave, even after the thing her face wasn’t even green. I remember the time I got totally shocked. By my old houses motion sensor alarm. It rang, I ran up, cried, the other day my face was pale and greenish. And that’s was when I was her age. I still have that thoughts of that night.

Ya, that’s basically the whole story.

In addition, my gallery’s opening will be delayed until I find out the problem, my computer can’t read the SD card reader. All thank’s to you, crappy computer.

Gallery coming soon not-so-soon!

Event’s day!

Hello again readers! Today is my school’s official event day of the year. Once a year, every school will have a thing called sports day and carnival day. But we decided to make it into an event’s day, which is mixing sports and carnival together, making a sports carnival day.

So it goes like this: we sell stuff, we play stuff, we earn $$$ from the stuff we sell and have fun. After all the weird sports (one was pass-the-multisized-balls-to-the-next-person-while-lying-on-the-mud), we were all muddy and sweaty at the same time. And so is the changing room. All of us were washing our clothing and some were showering with water taps.

Our stall is called “sandwich story” (awkward), and what we sell is only butter and sugar bread with packet drinks. We were all happy with it, but till’ the day comes. It was crap compared to other classes stalls. They were all roasted sausages, sushi….. Whatever kinds of food. I did suggest bubble tea, but my classmates rejected, and you should see how popular was the bubble tea stall.

In the end, we weren’t going back with a total loss. At least we did earn 130++ ringgit (in coupons).

The pictures are right below this post, go check it out!

Bye, gotta rest after a long morning!

Outing!! (And Theme Day Preparing)

This is the second time i’ve went out with classmates. It was fun after all……….

It all started when schools theme day was right around the corner. It’s this day where everyone must act unusual and weird and the whole class must dress alike. Everyone had different ideas, some had multiple ideas. Soon our facebook group page was filled with comments. More than a hundred of them….

The day came and we were all scattered around Sunway Pyramid. Each person went a different place at different time. And yet we got together somehow. That gathering already took us like 30 minutes. Well, due to our indecisive brains, we took almost 2 hours to pick out a theme. We were making a rant in Sunway. We’ve got almost every shopper looking at us….. How embarrasing.

In the end, we decided on the nerd theme. We went to asian avenue to buy some glasses. RM14 each, three richies (thats what i call them…) Each barfed out RM100. WOW.

Then the problem hit us at class. A few people doesn’t want to be nerd, oh you know them…. Stuck ups. So we had to change again. But we changed into nerdy pontianaks, which mean nerdy blood-sucking things….

Examination is killing me!!! In a good way…..

School tests are out and most of us are actually studying for it. It’s only 3 days long and doesn’t have a lot of subjects to cover. So far all the tests went well, maybe a little twitch on maths, total destruction on biology.

History turned out as easy as pie. I don’t know if it was our teacher that gave us a chance of life or we just killed the exam. Biology was my worst subject ever. The teacher was just giving us notes and lecturing us while everyone was talking, playing, chit-chatting, just not paying attention to to board and teachers mouth.

English was okay, but hanging on the line. Geography was the most confusing question paper ever in my life. The question that came out was the exact opposite to what we learned in school. I wonder the person who set this paper even read the textbook…..

A 3rd Visit To Sunway Lagoon

Today is my official 3rd and fascinating visit to the well-known to almost everybody in Selangor’s Sunway Lagoon.

The weather was on our side during the start of the day, it was sun-less, breezy, not-so-cold type of weather. Just nice. We had homemade loh-mai-kai, considering the presence of my relatives from Muar. That includes my grandpa& ma, my aunt& uncle, and two cousins of mine. Among all my cousins, i was the oldest. So i do most of the stuff.

I am not a stranger to Sunway Lagoon. And because of that, i was the tour guide for the visit. There were a few slides and other stuff that i craved to visit in the past. But after going on it for at least twice, i felt bored of it. Now, the only games i like is the Congo Challenge and the Lazy River.

We rented two single donuts and a double donut (a.k.a the floating ring thingy)and rented a locker that should be bigger and there starts our visit.

By around 11a.m, there weren’t many people queing for the slides, after another 30 minutes the queue area was overflowing with people. Well, we managed to try it once. At least….

The rest of the visit was just about the same.

Until 4p.m.

The weather turned from good to bad to worse to crap. But we got out of the mood just in time. What luck! And timing. The rain never stopped until we reached home. We had to use towels for cover and rushed to the car.

What a visit!

Exams exams……

The exam season is back again with new questions to squeeze out those brain juices of those students!!!!!!

Luckily for me, my exams are a few weeks after the government schools. Therefore, i’m still safe. Exams are like a test run for a ever-upgrading exam-machine. A.k.a, students in government schools. They make them machines, lifeless machines. Made for examination.

Every year, student undergo 4 exams, but me, just 3. Haha, in your face! But my exams are way harder & tougher & difficulter than theirs. They study more, we study hard. But at least our teachers teach us using fun ways, and government school teachers sometimes don’t even bother to enter class.

So? What’s the point of teaching as a teacher? They are like getting paid for doing nothing. WOW! Being a teacher rocks!

Chinese New Year!!!!!

Woohoo!!!!!!! The annual money getting event has arrived!!!!!!

It’s new year and my house is p-r-e-p-a-r-e-d for it. We have a mini house warming party before it so it will be tiring. Anyways, yesterday my father and i did some decoration to our front door and back. This will mark my first time climbing up a ladder to do real stuff and not just for the fun of it.

We haven’t been decorating our house since forever for chinese new year. We usually just hang two lanterns outside and forget about it. But since now we’re in a new house, my dad here decided to have some changes. Resulting in the looks of my current house.

Grandma’s house is also not 100%in the CNY mood. Just some lanterns and everyone gathering at her house. She cooks plenty of food during that day and mysingapore cousins will be coming back for family gathering.

Quotes

Okay, the past ten days was tiring and so time-consuming that I don’t even have the time to sit down and type a post.

Quotes, a conclusion for a few days. At least that is what i think it means. Helping others get back friendship is hard, but like they say, after a storm, a rainbow appears. So it feels good for helping a fren in need.

The cat problem. Recently, more and more cats are appearing around my neighbourhood. A fren says that we should ignore it, but her mom has other plans. And also, there’s a kitten near my school. Some girls decided to like take care of it. So i saw them feeding it. (maybe there’s already a name for it)

Golf. My past two golf games are a wreck. My driver just doesn’t go, woods go “kaput” or shank or cut or slice, irons are okay, chips are as usual, but putting good. There’s this fren of mine that we golf together. He plays like an adult although he’s 1 year older than me. I almost got it in a 15 footer, just that i can’t get the speed right.

These are the main quotes for the past ten days. I don’t want to brag about others for too long. K, bye!

Old School…

You know why i posted this post? Cos’ my frens haven’t came out to hang out yet, so this is just something to pass the time. But it won’t be a crappy post.

Old school…….. I liked the feeling about that. Thats one of my best times in my life. I made a lot of frens, like Ryan, Sau Meng, etc etc…. Too many that i still can’t remember. The moments we all had together, frenship, joking around, studying together, doing ridiculous stuff….. running around… I’ll smile whenever i thought about those days.

So far i only keep in touch with some frens. The others don’t even care bout’ me no more. Ryan is my only best fren for life. I hope it stays that way. Forever. New frens keep comin in every time you go to a new place.

Ok bye now. Hope my neighbourhood frens still remember to come out. Haha.

The Final Day…

The FINAL day of 2010′s long holiday has arrived. That means goodbye to most of the fun (or boringness for some) in the not-everlasting holiday. The parents will be as the same as usual, going to work, but it’s the children that releases a loud and long sigh towards their upcoming days. But not for me.

As for me, i’m quite eager about the upcoming days, cos’ i get the chance to actually switch to a private school. Believe me, i didn’t apply for the school, but was INVITED to join them. It’s actually a shoplot cos’ they can’t find the actual building or maybe by chance build one. (they are….. Two years from now and we’ll be in it) It is actually a very good school that you can express yourself and speak your heart out. Although they have few teachers and students, they have a very good method of teaching. Like a win-win or maybe win-win-win competitions.

Okay, back a few days now. 1st of 2011, fireworks time! No, i didn’t get to play with firecrackers or something. But we did see some great firework shows right in the comforts of our own home. Our balcony has a magnificent sight of the entire area. We could even see Sunway Pyramid’s fireworks and guess what, we could even see KLCC’s fireworks display, like the size of an ant! Fu-Yoh!

Nowadays i have a lot to say, but i have limited time. And memory, i think i forgot what happened last Thursday……. Just kidding! Ok, got school tommorow so bye!
