Pre-Christmas Present

Well, the sound of the title may sound good, but it’s actually something bad. Obviously. I fell from my bike. Many people keep going like: How did it happen? You so old already and you fell off a bike? *smirks*. Well i  have one thing to say to them, nobody’s perfect. And so are you.

I have been through many injuries in my biking life but this is the worse case. I was cycling around when my hand slipped. The handlebars dragged me with my body at the side of the bike, legs hanging out, knees scratching the pavement…. It was a very painful moment. It’s happening all in slow-motion. I could even remember the sight of the front of the bike dragging my knee and ”A BAD KNEE INJURY IS COMING” flashed through my mind. Why? Because it was not just a fall, it was a DRAG for 40cm, on rocky pavement.

Well in the end I had a wound the size of a 50cent coin. Slightly bigger. With blood coming out. Part of my flesh is showing and i think you wouldn’t wanna imagine it in your head, or you will vomit. I almost had a picture of it posted here.

That night, afraid of an infection, we went to the doctors for medication and miraculously, my wound was heart-shaped, with a sharp end and a top that looks like a ”3”.

Best Birthday Evar!!

So far this is the best birthday i ever had in my life.

First, as all of you know, i got a laptop. Partially from my grades, and half from being my birthday present.

But now, i got and iPod Touch!!!! It’s so wonderful that i got the two things that i wanted the most in a week! How amazing is that!? Plus, i’ve just bought my iPod cover and screen protector just now, and i also got WordPress in it. So that means pictexts are going to be up soon, again.

The iPod is just a shrunken iPad. It has all the same features, just more portability.

This is gonna be a short post so i’ll just end it here. Bye!

Definitely Different

Having a pc and a laptop are two very different things. First of all, we get to store our personal stuff in laptops and not like on the pc, which is shared by everyone.

Lately i’ve been using my laptop to do some never-done-before stuff with my pc. First of all, Windows Movie Maker. I had it once on my pc and i didn’t knew how to use it, and didn’t even bothered about it. Until the time came for me to use it, i went crazy. Now, Movie maker is slowly becoming more and more interesting to me, as I know more about it’s functions and all the amazing stuff we can do with it. So far i have made two photo album videos, you know those that you put a few photos in and a random song and you call it an album, yeah that’s just about it.

Typing on the keyboard just doesn’t feel the same anymore. Most probably because i have gotten used to typing on a rock-hard surface, the iPad, making buttons feel comfortable for me. The chiclet keyboard also makes typing easier and smoother. The fonts on the keyboard are nice, and the problem in which the keyboard sinks down has gone away completely. It is amazing how Dell makes laptop keyboards. It comes with a built in number pad, therefore you can imagine how big the size is. I should cut a piece of mouse pad and cover it and tell people that my laptop comes with a built-in mouse pad, as long as i don’t use the number pad.

Somehow the weight is gone. It says 2.7kg in the description but to me it weighs less that a netbook. Plus, it’s bigger and better to type in, nicer screen, better touchpad, yet still quite portable to me. My parents keep saying: ‘’Are you sure you don’t want a smaller one?’’ But a 15.6’’ is good for me. It has more features, better quality, and i don’t care about portability. It’s not like i’m gonna bring it anywhere and everywhere, maybe a few times a month or so.

So now i’m still enjoying my laptop and hopefully i get the chance to write my next post using this laptop again!

Finally Back and Typing Again…..

I almost forgot how nice blogiing was already. I just got my new laptop, giving me more motivation to blog and therefore making my blog more attractive. I know i have lost almost all my fellow readers in the past few months because I stopped blogging. I’m sorry for that. Those who are keen to read what i write about my life will now be delighted and infused with joy (i’m using so-called BIG WORDS) that i’m starting up this blog again.

And today  shall be blogging about my new computer. A laptop us not something that a parent can be okay about. There’s always worries in a child when he gets his own stuff like a small toy, he might swallow it. When they are older, school, which is being bullied. And a little bit older than that, their gadgets. Just like me. I don’t know about the future because i have never experienced it first-hand, and i’m not going to make any predictions or anything.

But at the teenage years of life, teens like to have their own stuff and not relying on parents, except financially. And what the parents do is very simple, make them live their lives, earn what you get. Which is right, to a parents mind. But in their minds they’re going like ”What!?” Thats because most kids are spoilt there fore they go ”what!?”. Don’t get me wrong, i earned this laptop myself, it came from the sweat and blood and all the enormous effort i put into my studies (PART of it is true——-Just kidding) so i could earn my dream laptop. I’ve been wanting one for the past 4 years. Turns out, i had to wait till i was so called mature and knows how to manage time and priorities. True true…

Now the other problem is most youngsters are wanting gadgets so much that they beg for it.. Some even threaten their parents. I see some kids nowadays having iPhones and iPods when there are looking like five year olds. Turns out they ARE five year olds. When i was five i had toy soldiers, i had rocking horses, but iPhones!? That’s something new.

Okay, i should talk about my new laptop now. Thinking of the moral behind it is like findind trouble for myself……Just kidding, what trouble could i get except for being whacked by small kids if they read this and saw me in the mall or something?

It’s a Dell inspiron15R.I didn’t get my dream laptop, the XPS15z because of the price. It was 3000++ or 4000++, and dad said i shouldn’t have such an expensive laptop at this age. It looks like any other inspiron laptop from the outside, just bigger (15.6 inch), heavier, and has more features. it has this face recognition thingy that apparently scans my face everytime i log in. Quite cool. The big screen is for mostly gaming (heheheheheh……..) but for work and studies as well. Using this laptop brightens up my life. With the sleek blue outer skin and beautiful keyboards and touchpads. Its a nice laptop, although i still prefer the xps.

The outer skin can be changed and there’s some keyboard problem and beautiful graphics, thanks to the LED display screen.

Laptop Cravings!

As you all know, i’ve been using a crappy desktop for ages now. And now it’s the time to change.

I want to tell you readers beforehand that i am truly sorry for not posting as usually as always.

Now to the main thing. A laptop is what i need to fulfil my life goal, well maybe teenager-colleger goal, but a  laptop is just what i need. My friend has one and he overusues it from when school ends to maybe about 11pm? Thats like being crazy about your laptop. So after i got my good grades to prove that i’m studying (i did get good grades for this time….). So i went surfing the internet for a laptop. My scoolhmate said that any laptop that runs on an i7 processor is a supercomputer. Excluding mac of course.

So this is the laptop that i want so much if i get to skip a grade.

The laptop is a Dell XPS15z. Lately its been one of the latest products created by Dell. It runs on an i5 or i7. But any of them is fine with me. Thats all, hope you agree with my choice of laptops.

PC Explosion

Pc explosion, it explains everything. Recently i’ve been wanting a laptop so badly, and the only shot at it that i get is the year end exam. Skip form 3, and you’re off to laptop paradise.

That fateful day, maybe it was due to my exams coming or it sensed that i hated it for a laptop or what, i was planning to do a research when it turned on……

Vroom? Or is it bleep? Or *booting sound* started to play when this went from *boot* to *boom!* i was stunned by it i froze there for…… half a minute? And there goes my pc. Well, it’s just a crappy pc, i mean like that should happen, it’s just a matter of time….

This is a short post about a climax in my life. Better get studying cause history is coming up tomorrow!

Cards

Lately, i have an obsession with cards. But before i get to that, i want to apologize to all my readers for not posting recently, exams are coming soon so i won’t be planning to blog much about my experience again.

Now back to the card thing. Ask yourself: when you were young, did you ever get amazed by all those mind-blowing tricks that magicians perform? Be honest to yourself. I have. So thats why when this card thing happened, i can’t resist to learn some new tricks. I have a few decks, all of them are just normal playing cards, but just not MEANT for playing. They are collectors stuff, magician cards…… They come from America, and the quality is as smooth as a feather, making the cards slide out of your hand, even with a tight grip. That’s of course if the card is fresh-from-the-box.

Angry Birds Addiction

Lately, my dad’s been addicted to the popular iPad game, Angry birds. That game has gotten popularity for downloads on the app store, you readers also most probably have played it before. The game includes a lot of the laws of physics, but one thing is that the birds can’t fly. Don’t they have wings? To me, why must we launch a bird with a slingshot? Weird much?

Anyways, the game is addictive so i can’t say much about that. People love shooting birds off a slingshot, so that’s fine with me. I’ve already finished the game so that app is probably useless to me….. But now it’s got my dad addicted. 

Sides

So recently the neighbourhooders got into sides. I don’t have the names yet but let’s just say A side vs. B side. And as for me, I’m just like always, stuck in the middle. A side has their own explanations, B side got theirs. I bet that you are wondering what for.

Look. It’s like this, we were playing as usual when someone decides to climb on top of a slide tube. She didn’t sit in the lock dead position, which means you can’t fall no matter what, but in a feather position. Those are the most dangerous type of climbing. And then, another person tickled her resulting the fact that she will be falling, good thing she held on. I didn’t see the whole thing, but this is what I heard. Then she did what every girl would have did. She cried.

I guess she might have been scared and didn’t want her face to be seen or something, because after that she shooed us all away and demanded privacy. To be honest with you, I pity her. I am even scared to climb where she climbed. Even if I almost fell, I will still feel scared and not try it again. She’s really brave, even after the thing her face wasn’t even green. I remember the time I got totally shocked. By my old houses motion sensor alarm. It rang, I ran up, cried, the other day my face was pale and greenish. And that’s was when I was her age. I still have that thoughts of that night.

Ya, that’s basically the whole story.

In addition, my gallery’s opening will be delayed until I find out the problem, my computer can’t read the SD card reader. All thank’s to you, crappy computer.

A Visit from An Old Friend….

My old friend: Ryan. We’ve never met for like half a year, or maybe more than that.

So the day before yesterday, we decided to meet up and have a sleepover. Ryan is the type of person thats geeky, yet mature. he knows a lot about tech and softwares that even i didn’t heard before. Not even the computer man in my family (is there even one?). He came just because of the video we were trying to make. He wants to make a film instead of just make a simple video of yourself. Why? He said it was just to pursue his dreams. So why can’t he just take a camcorder and film himself.

But i still got pulled in by him to go find the place to film…. So since we aren’t adults and can’t earn money for ourselves, we just have to settle down at the park nearby my house. Who knows? Maybe it’s a good place to film. He went online to find his video effects software. I wanted that software with Adobe Photoshop together, and thats when i realized how crappy was my PC. First, it cant even fit Adobe after effects with premier pro, so i abandoned that, therefore Ryan’s the one who’s doing all the editing. Due to some crappy DirectX issue, i can’t even run a single game on my computer. Ain’t that frustrating? He gave me what i wanted, but my computer just can’t run the stupid software. This has happened like 10 times already.

Anyways, we had a great time together playing my new ps3. I had this game called Army Of Two: The 40th Day. And it glued us to the TV for like 4 hours straight! With some breaks of course…. The game rocks, just not fully FPS . Making orientation difficult.

This Friday i’ll be packing for Port Dickson again. No, not with camp. With family. The extended one. So i’ll be applying some games that i learned from Yuber, since i’m the game organizer. So when this sunday comes, i’ll be typing to you about my trip in PD, so stay tuned!

In case you haven’t noticed, my blog has a new look. No, not only a change of theme but now it has a homepage and a blog page etc. etc.

Ryan’s blog inspired me to do it, his has a nice homepage, a few pages coming soon, nice pop-ups……. But he just doesn’t find time to type a post. I mean, i know that he’s been busy and all that but one post in a MONTH!? Seriously!?

Home Sweet Home.

I like my house. Its kind of big but not too big for my family. So today has been a lazy day (it’s wesak day. A chinese celebration of i dunno what.) and because of that, i’m not schooling and my dad’s not working. Too bad my mom is, but she came back early due to sickness.

It was a tuesday but it felt like it was a sunday. Not for mom anyways, but we went with the usual sunday planning, golf and home. I took a nap after i reached home. Basically it was open the door, keep the bags, use the toilet, *wham!* i fainted on the bed.

Dad’s been working a lot lately. He’s glad (i think) cos’ he’s finished four days of work in two hours. With the outdoor cool air+ the air-con and blues or jazz playing at the back, it’s just perfect for anything, for him of course.

So now i’m gonna faint on the bed again and hopefully have a good tommorow!

Hobbies And Dreams

Hello again my readers, i’m really sorry for not posting lately. Today i’ll be talking about my hobbies and dreams, or in short, HNB’s. Lately, i’ve been thinking about what to become in the future and what to do with my life right now.

For hobbies, i’ll be choosing guitar. Guitar has been chosen by lots of my frens. So far three people in my class knows guitar, and even some of my other frens, like Ryan. It is a fun instrument and i like any song that is played with it. But not it’s twin, the ELECTRIC GUITAR. Loud and noisy is just not my type. It’s been a few days since i started learning to play it. And let me tell you this, it’s quite hard for me due to the chubbyness of my finger. Haha…..

Now for dreams. Architecture or interior designing will be my best choice. So maybe i’ll go for either one. I’ve been drawing some floor plans for my room when we were moving into the new house. They were considered “okay” for a newbie. So maybe i’ll be drawing a few nowadays and if it’s nice, i might even post it in my blog.

iPhone 4

Yesterday, my mum got and iPhone 4. Ya, thats right, i am not the one that’s getting it, since i already got the X8…… *sigh*

She was always a stranger to technology, and that’s why i was the answer to most of her problems. Even my father too! No wonder the newspaper comics says that ” Technology is wasted on adults.” Now i believe that it is true.

She was asking me common sense (to teens ) questions like ”How do you back a page from the message?” with the arrow pointing back and written with ”messages” right in front of her. OMG.

Well, my mom wanted an iPhone and she’s got it. She even complains that the keyboard is too small and her fingers are touching other letters than the correct one. I think she hasn’t heard of the auto-correct function. And my advice, ”Got iPhone still complain so much, tak boleh tahan!”

Sony Xperia X8

Today is my official 3rd day of using a new phone, and tell you the truth, IT ROCKS!

Sony Ericsson even has their own market (something like app store), to sell apps for Sony androids. This is by far my first time using an android, and they even have WordPress app in market! Some iphone games like Angry Birds and Ninjump are also available in market.

The phone is quite laggish after downloading so many apps, i had to delete some apps to make space for what i want most. There’s this app that downloads songs from the internet, so i get free music easy for my phone. That app should be available for every single phone, cos’ if that comes out, downloads will soar like hell…..

By the way, my school exam marks are still hanging at the A-B line, some of it got to A, some just drop below B….. *sigh* But with a target of 85, i doubt that will happen. So, continue to wish me luck on the rest of my marks……..
