Angry Birds Addiction

Lately, my dad’s been addicted to the popular iPad game, Angry birds. That game has gotten popularity for downloads on the app store, you readers also most probably have played it before. The game includes a lot of the laws of physics, but one thing is that the birds can’t fly. Don’t they have wings? To me, why must we launch a bird with a slingshot? Weird much?

Anyways, the game is addictive so i can’t say much about that. People love shooting birds off a slingshot, so that’s fine with me. I’ve already finished the game so that app is probably useless to me….. But now it’s got my dad addicted.

We Screw a Teacher.

Here’s what happened:
The new teacher, her first time teaching us, came in and started to act a bit kebangsaan-ish. No this, no that, no life. She asked us to memorize some stuff for a game later on.

At first she called some guys at the back to put their chairs on the table, and later we would stand on them and try to touch the beam above. I was thinking how in the world do you expect us to do that!? But well, it’s the teachers orders. So they did.

The first group went, we laughed and laughed until we feel like a six-pack coming up. They were hilarious, the way he screwed up, even after the advices from our teacher. The game ended, they failed. So the consequences were the beam-touching thing. Dont get me wrong but the first team was a boy and girl. The girl stood back and the other went for it, quick. The table slanrpted and collaspe, the guy falling with it. As soon as it all went down, the natural reaction would to have be to attend to the guy first. He was okay, but not the girl. Apparently the tip of the chairs legs fell and hit her foot, and it started bleeding. She cried, obviously.

The teacher went like: “what were you thinking going up there so quickly?” or” Didn’t you think before you act?” and she kept pushing all the blame to us. Who started it? Who was the one that asked us to perform an impossible stunt?

In the end, i could tell you that it wasn’t pretty. The teacher got FIRED. I felt guilty, angry, pity, sad, happy all at once. It was so unimaginable. Now we’re possibly the worst class ever to be in the school. Almost every teacher gets frustrated with our class. We never fail to increase our reputation every day.

The teacher that we screwed was out malay teacher. And we’ve been denied by 3 teachers in six months, one denied, one cried, one fired. How bad can that possibly get?

This is truly saddening for us….

Father’s Day.

Yesterday was father’s day and therefore, i have yet another thing to say:

Dad, i’ve been your son for 14 years now, and you’ve never failed to keep this family safe and happy, making corrections whenever something goes wrong (although i still have to correct your grammar…), making the correct decisions, paying our bills, being my inspiration………..

There are just so many things that i can’t finish.

I love you dad.

Sides

So recently the neighbourhooders got into sides. I don’t have the names yet but let’s just say A side vs. B side. And as for me, I’m just like always, stuck in the middle. A side has their own explanations, B side got theirs. I bet that you are wondering what for.

Look. It’s like this, we were playing as usual when someone decides to climb on top of a slide tube. She didn’t sit in the lock dead position, which means you can’t fall no matter what, but in a feather position. Those are the most dangerous type of climbing. And then, another person tickled her resulting the fact that she will be falling, good thing she held on. I didn’t see the whole thing, but this is what I heard. Then she did what every girl would have did. She cried.

I guess she might have been scared and didn’t want her face to be seen or something, because after that she shooed us all away and demanded privacy. To be honest with you, I pity her. I am even scared to climb where she climbed. Even if I almost fell, I will still feel scared and not try it again. She’s really brave, even after the thing her face wasn’t even green. I remember the time I got totally shocked. By my old houses motion sensor alarm. It rang, I ran up, cried, the other day my face was pale and greenish. And that’s was when I was her age. I still have that thoughts of that night.

Ya, that’s basically the whole story.

In addition, my gallery’s opening will be delayed until I find out the problem, my computer can’t read the SD card reader. All thank’s to you, crappy computer.

Gallery coming soon not-so-soon!

Port Dickson (Day 2)

Yeah, i know. Why is it not day 1 but day 2? I found out today that there was a modem installed in every room okay?

The PD trip has been going on for 2 days (obviously), and i feel great when being with family, the never-see-more-than-twice-per-year family members. That would be my aunt and uncle, and they live in Singapore. And their daughters are my oldest cousins, closest to my age, and that makes us talking about teen stuff more. The rest are younger, way younger.

The time that i reach the room, i was stunned by the view. And now i’m typing to you at the balcony, which has a fantabulous view of the sea. Looking at it just makes you feel like you wanna stay there forever. The hotel’s called Legend, so i’ve been wondering if this place is like ancient or something. Our room is practically okay but not so lucky with the other rooms. Leaking air-con…. Ya thats basically it. So why does a 4-5 star hotel have a leaking air-con? They should fix it before we arrive, right?

The activities,my favourite. Lazing in the hotel, doing our own stuff, the adults are asleep even after only half the day. What drives them to stay awake the whole day? As the game organizer, i think i’ve been partially fired. Most games are hosted by my father, and we’ve only played two of them. The rest, one mine one his. And today we rode something called a KMX. I felt safe yet pumped with adrenaline.it has three wheels, fun but attracts attention, a lot. Everybody we passed went like “WOW!” or “I want that!”. This is what i told them, “……..” meaning nothing, this is what i SHOULD have said, ” i know i look hot but you don’t have to stalk me with your eyes…” UM………..

That’s it for today, i’ll be heading back tomorrow *frown*, yeah, it’s life. Face it.

Enjoy your final days of holiday!

A Visit from An Old Friend….

My old friend: Ryan. We’ve never met for like half a year, or maybe more than that.

So the day before yesterday, we decided to meet up and have a sleepover. Ryan is the type of person thats geeky, yet mature. he knows a lot about tech and softwares that even i didn’t heard before. Not even the computer man in my family (is there even one?). He came just because of the video we were trying to make. He wants to make a film instead of just make a simple video of yourself. Why? He said it was just to pursue his dreams. So why can’t he just take a camcorder and film himself.

But i still got pulled in by him to go find the place to film…. So since we aren’t adults and can’t earn money for ourselves, we just have to settle down at the park nearby my house. Who knows? Maybe it’s a good place to film. He went online to find his video effects software. I wanted that software with Adobe Photoshop together, and thats when i realized how crappy was my PC. First, it cant even fit Adobe after effects with premier pro, so i abandoned that, therefore Ryan’s the one who’s doing all the editing. Due to some crappy DirectX issue, i can’t even run a single game on my computer. Ain’t that frustrating? He gave me what i wanted, but my computer just can’t run the stupid software. This has happened like 10 times already.

Anyways, we had a great time together playing my new ps3. I had this game called Army Of Two: The 40th Day. And it glued us to the TV for like 4 hours straight! With some breaks of course…. The game rocks, just not fully FPS . Making orientation difficult.

This Friday i’ll be packing for Port Dickson again. No, not with camp. With family. The extended one. So i’ll be applying some games that i learned from Yuber, since i’m the game organizer. So when this sunday comes, i’ll be typing to you about my trip in PD, so stay tuned!

Support my video! (if it even comes out….)

Back Home.. From Camp Yuber!!

It’s me again! Who missed me? Nah, just kidding. I’m now back from Camp Yuber which is like the best leadership training camp IN THE WORLD. Yeah, literally in the world.

What’s Camp Yuber? It’s this 5 day experimential leadership training camp that allows campers to let go of their Fimage. I know fimage is not a word but we call it short for fear of image. Fimage is that we’re worrying too much about how we look to others. WHO CARES? Just go out and do it! “As soon as you start worrying that others think you’re stupid, you are stupid”

We stayed in this “dorm” that is a cheapskate hotel in Port Dickson. Four in a room. HMMMM… Thats a bit cheapskate right? We paid RM1,890 for a room with 2 beds and 2 extra beds? Luckily i got the bed though. My roomates were okay, they let me like take lead or something.

As soon as the second day started, the activities have begun. It was raining outside that day so we couldn’t go as planned, to the beach. Damn it. We were like waiting for that the entire trip. Apparently they used this big hall as our “classroom” and they have many ways of doing stuff. We were splitted into teams so we had a team cheer.

The food there was way below average of what we call HUMAN FOOD. The rice was like rice cake, drink was as usual, the syrup, fish were those that once you cook it, nobody would eat it type, chicken was quite amusing, veges were quite weird. Funny looking food usually tastes bad. I learned that even when they never taught it to us.

So every night we would have this team chat, sometimes was about public speaking, then we would have to make a fake audience and a fake stage. Sometimes it was a team interview, and at the last day was the strength acknowledgements which everyone had to say something good or some attitude changes before and after the camp. That made some break into tears.

The camp was filled with activities. Here’s a small brain tip. Stand up straight, draw a line between your entire body, top to bottom. Thats the center line. Believe it or not, your brain actually has these “wires” in them, called the neural pathways. The more you have, the higher the brain capacity. And if you are moving your right hand, thats actually using your left brain, so it’s like criss-crossing your movement controls. Try to make your hands go through the line you drawn in the center, and it will change from your left brain to your right brain. Try it out, scientists treid it on Einsteins brain and his neural pathways are way more than ours. So if we exercise our brain enogh, we could be geniuses!

Here are some pictures, oh ya! And the brain likes pictures and colours!
